St. Croix Prep School

On June 8 and June 9 I trained the teachers at St. Croix Prep in Stillwater, MN on how to teach the Imagine It! Reading Program. On June 8 I did a short introduction on RTI (Response to Intervention) with the whole group and then worked with grades 4-6 in the morning and grades K-2 in the afternoon. What a wonderful group of teachers! Everyone was very excited about the materials and I am looking forward to working with them in the future. After the first day of training, I was invited to take a tour of their new school. What a beautiful building! The school is still under construction but they allowed the teachers to take a peek at their new classrooms. The new building will house K-high school and it is truly state of the art. The next day I trained grades 2 and 3 in the morning and then met with the entire group in the afternoon to discuss workshop, assessment, and writing.
