I went to Children's Hospital to visit Ginger and Abby today. Abby is 15 days old and she is improving each day. She is receiving less meds, less oxygen, and has begun physical therapy. She has been through so much in her short life. I am glad that she is improving and that I finally got an opportunity to see her. She is beautiful.
I brought Abby the book "The Monster at the End of This Book." I read her the book before I left the hospital. Grover was my favorite Sesame Street character when I was little and Ginger and I both remember reading the book when we were kids. Abby has a stuffed Grover and Elmo in her hospital room and when I saw pictures of Abby with Grover it reminded me of the book. I had to run to Borders and get it for her!
