My life has been too busy to Blog. August is my busiest work month with schools wanting training for their teachers prior to the first day of school. Since the merger I have been busy learning new products, observing, and adjusting to the transition.
Two weeks ago Kimberly and I spent two days training teachers in Chicago. While in Chicago we took advantage of the beautiful weather and made a visit to Navy Pier. We took an architectural boat tour and saw the fireworks. Pictures and more details to come soon.
I spent last week observing a co-worker train Triumphs and Treasure Chest, had the opportunity to hear Vicki Gibson, a Treasures author, speak in Hazelwood, and conducted a workshop for Riverview Gardens teachers. Two of my Gateway Wind Quintet friends made a quick visit and saw my house for the first time. Photos to be posted soon.
Kimberly and I took a road trip to Princeton, MO to train teachers in Imagine It! My little cousin Dustin got married on Saturday and cousin Mark, from New York, spent the night at our house and left for the airport early this morning.
I am gearing up for another busy week with a 4 1/2 hour drive to Leavenworth, KS today. Two days training literacy coaches in Chicago in the middle of the week and preparing and traveling to Grandma Talley's 90th birthday in Kentucky on Saturday!
